Tragic Car Crash 

An 18-year-old Moncton man died at the scene of a single-vehicle crash on Highway 2 on Saturday morning. Police believe the vehicle was traveling eastbound when it left the road and entered a ditch; the crash is still under investigation (Man dies following single-vehicle crash in Moncton).

 

Horizon Health Network is planning a new urgent care centre for Moncton to provide an alternative for non-life-threatening conditions and reduce emergency room visits. However, the organization has not yet provided a location or an opening date for the new facility (Horizon planning urgent care centre for Moncton | Telegraph-Journal). 

 

Residents in Alma, NB are facing water disruptions and a boil-water order due to unusually high usage, which officials believe is caused by a significant leak.

Twelve volunteer firefighters have stepped away from the Sackville Fire Department over concerns about favoritism and the need for a safe, harassment-free work environment.
