New Year's Resolutions: Most Popular Ones and How to Stay On-Track

Scotty

The Top 10 Resolutions continue to be similar every year.
    Exercise more.
    Lose weight.
Get organized (at home and/or at your job.)
Learn a new skill or hobby (I suggest taking up the otamatone or Super Slider Snow Skis.)
    Live life to the fullest.
Save more money / Spend less money (Wait, who wants to spend MORE money? What The Hey??!)
    Quit smoking.
Spend more time with family and friends.
    Travel more.

Tips for Success: (remember SMART)
Specific: Clearly define what you want to achieve (e.g., "Quit smoking" instead of "Be healthy").
Measurable: Use numbers to track progress (e.g., "Lose 10% of body weight").
Attainable: Choose a goal that is challenging but realistic.
Relevant: Ensure the goal aligns with your actual priorities and values.
Time-sensitive: Set a deadline to create a sense of urgency.

Strategies:
    Write your resolution down.
Start small: focus on gradual progress.
Break it down: Chunk large goals into smaller, manageable tasks.
    Do it with a buddy.
Be kind to yourself: a moment of weakness is not a failure!
