The Montreal Economic Institute put out some stats about the state of nursing in New Brunswick.
NB has one of the worst nurse retention rates in the country and it seems like job burnout is a big reason.
One of the stats was about younger nurses, age 35 and under; for every 100 new nurses who sign on, 62 other nurses leave nursing.

American Iron & Metal is the company behind the scrapyard on Toombs Street in Moncton. Their license to operate expired in June and the Province decided to not renew the license.
Now American Iron and Metal has filed for a review of the Province's decision; they want a judge to look at it.
According to the CBC article we link to, part of AIM filing says “The decision is unreasonable, unintelligible, and lacks justification and transparency..."

icymi, The auditor general's report on the Canada Revenue Agency call centres has some bad news:
- According to the report, if I called to get an answer to a tax question, the odds of getting a correct answer was pretty bad. CRA call centres gave accurate answers to tax questions about 17% of the time.
- The report also talked about Long Wait Times and some other issues going on.
- CRA is working on it.
