The NB Groundwater Association in the news about how many wells in the province are going dry.
This includes wells in our area.
According to the drought map from Agriculture Canada, most of NB is in severe to extreme drought, some parts are worse than that.

The amount of people who have refused to let NB Power install a smart power meter has had an uptick; estimated to be ~17000 households.
- CBC has a story about how NB Power is looking at increasing what you'd pay to opt out of having a smart meter.

Tariff War Update:President Trump announced he's stopping trade talks with Canada because he's not happy with a commercial that the Province of Ontario has been running on American TV. The ad features excerpts from a speech by President Ronald Reagan where he is explaining why tariffs are bad for the USA. Reagan is still thought of as one of the greatest Conservative presidents in US history, and the clips are taken from an actual speech that Reagan gave back in the day.
