icymi, Taylor Swift bought back the original recordings of her first 6 albums, so she owns her music again!
Notes:
- Taylor fans were furious at the people who sold the rights to Taylor's first 6 albums in 2019/ 2020. Taylor was like, "No one checked with me, and I wrote those songs. What the HECK!?" (paraphrase)
- Taylor began a campaign to re-record her originals (recordings which she would own) ... fans and radio stations supported this by purchasing/ streaming/ playing the Taylor versions.
- Taylor reportedly paid ~ 360 million to get the rights to her original 6 again... that amount is said to be about what the previous owners paid back in 2020, so it seems like when everybody started supporting Taylor's versions, the value of the originals began to lose valuation maybe?

Also icymi, Kenny Chesney was playing at The Sphere in Vegas when the sound cut out... so Kenny directed everyone in a rendition of "Livin' in Fast Forward". It was great!
