TL;DR, blue green algae (cyanobacteria) can be harmful to people and pets. Sometimes you can see it, sometimes you can't. Do not kayak/canoe/etc until the city gives the all clear and do not let your dog near the water to drink/swim/other.

A rare Les Paul guitar valued at ~ $14,000 was stolen from Long & McQuade in Moncton on Thurs am. A window was smashed and someone grabbed the guitar. It's a rare, custom guitar, so will probably be hard to unload (someone will recognize it). RCMP is investigating. If you have info please contact Codiac RCMP. NB Premier Susan Holt says tariffs, which the US has proposed, could impact local jobs and small businesses. Prov plans to use federal tariff-relief fund to support affected companies. Some beef suppliers have offered settlements after some allegations. Basically, it's alleged that some meat companies secretly agreed to make the price of beef too high (paraphrase, not a lawyer.) If the settlement gets court approval (the judge has to decide if it's a fair deal), and you are eligible, there might be some cash in your future. Not yet though.
