Article on crime in Metro Moncton: The Enough is Enough anti-crime coalition says Moncton has a crime problem and needs more police officers. When Moncton council voted on the city's 2026 budget, they voted against hiring more officers until an evaluation can be done. (In 2025, more police were hired and council wants to evaluate how that went *paraphrase.)
