Late yesterday morning, RCMP posted on social media about a police operation on Bedard St. in Dieppe, asking people to avoid the area. Hours later they thanked everyone for their cooperation and the operation was concluded. No official followup press release yet so, to be continued.

icymi, not every community in the region did fireworks on Canada Day because of a Provincial fire ban. We did have fireworks for Moncton/ Dieppe/ Riverview and fire crews had to put out a grassfire next to the riverfront.

According to reports online,  Moncton firefighters responded to a classic yesterday... they rescued a cat from a tree. Thank you first responders - you never know what the call is going to be and you get the job done.
