Shubenacadie Sam is usually scheduled to predict our weather future at around 8:00a but events have been cancelled this year because those folks got a big ol' storm. Technically, Shubenacadie Sam is staying in the burrow and will not see a shadow, which means an early spring.

Moncton will host the 2026 NORCECA Men’s Continental Championship at the Avenir Centre this September, an event where teams will compete for a spot in the 2028 Olympic Games. Nominations close on March 1, with the winner scheduled to be announced on April 4.
