"🎃 THANK YOU to everyone who joined us for the 25th annual Boo at the Zoo! Your participation, energy, and enthusiasm made this milestone event truly special. WOW!!! This year there was 16650 visitors, breaking our previous record for Boo at the Zoo! This is truly amazing because all the Friends of the Zoo's events are fundraisers. Therefore, by participating you are helping the animals directly! 💗
👻 A big shoutout to all who took part in our endangered species scavenger hunt—we hope you learnt how you can help the animals and felt inspired to do so. We’re thrilled to announce Meredith K. as our winner! Congrats!
💕 We couldn’t bring these fundraising events to life without the incredible support from our dedicated Magnetic Hill Zoo staff, Friends of the Zoo volunteers, Oulton College volunteers, Co-Operators volunteers and our sponsor Superstore Main Street! The full 4 day event took over 264 hours for the set-up, and over 924 hours of volunteering during the actual event!!! Your hard work and commitment make a world of difference!

"🕸️ Family-friendly Halloween décor throughout the Zoo—perfect for photos!
👻 Three levels of Halloween venues (mild, moderate, or scary—choose your thrill level).
🐾 Visit the Zoo animals during your adventure.
🎃 2 bouncy castles (one for children of all ages, and one for toddlers). Please note children must wear socks to participate and no makeup is allowed while using the inflatables.
🐎 Pony rides available with our Tarpan Horse Experience for 7$.
🐐 Animal feeding stations (loonies only).
☀️ Playground fun for the little ones.
🔍 Scavenger Hunt with a chance to win a prize!
📱 Online contests on our Facebook & Instagram leading up to the event.
🍔 Delicious eats & treats available for purchase: Acadian Forest Bistro & Miller’s Kettle Corn.
