Notes:
- The CMA nominations tend to be pretty conservative and this year seems that way - not groundbreaking.
- If Stephen Wilson Jr. isn't on your radar, he is nominated in the Best New Artist category with Shaboozey, Zach Top, Ella Langley, and Tucker Wetmore.
* Stephen would be the oldest New Artist trophy-winner ever at age 46. I mean, Boxcar Willie was older when he got nominated in 1981, but Boxcar Willie didn't win. (It was called the Horizon Award back then.)

*Boxcar may not be legal name*

- a LOT of articles point out how Jelly Roll should've been nominated as Entertainer of the Year but instead only got one nomination (Musical Event of the Year for his collab with Christian artist Brandon Lake on “Hard Fought Hallelujah”).
* Jelly Roll's song "Liar" broke records as the most-played song on the radio.
* Two years ago Jelly Roll won best new artist, a year later he won Entertainer of the Year (that hardly ever happens) and now barely any nominations.

TL;DR These guys ^^ aren't overly-nominated at the CMAs.

We'll see how it all shakes down during the Wednesday, November 19th broadcast on ABC.
