RCMP have issued a press release concerning a tragic car crash in Shediac: Two ladies in their 70s, both from PEI, have died following a single vehicle crash which happened on Highway 15 in Shediac on Thursday afternoon.
RCMP believe that the vehicle was travelling westbound when it left the highway toward the median and crashed.

Riverview Town Council is asking the Minister of Public Safety to do something about noisy vehicles. The town gets plenty of noise complaints, and this seems to be about helping the RCMP to act on noise complaints by getting some changes to the Motor Vehicle Act. Right now the Act is a bit vague about what is too loud, and it doesn't have specific decibel levels for loud vehicles.

Global news reported on Friday that there've been eight “no swimming” advisories at Parlee Beach this season because of high bacteria levels.
The Red Dot Association is an advocacy group concerned with environmental issues in Shediac Bay, and they were in the news on Friday asking that the Province get to the bottom of what is causing the elevated bacteria levels and what can be done to fix the problem. His name is Andy. He was the CEO at a tech company and he was caught on a Coldplay Concert Kiss Cam with a lady who was not his wife. The internet acted swiftly to right that wrong.
