The domestic box office set a new Memorial Day Weekend record in the USA; the box office movies made over $325M this past weekend!
1) Lilo & Stitch made $145.5M (domestic) in its first three days. That broke records... only two other Disney movies did better... The Lion King ($191.77M) and Beauty and the Beast ($174.75M). BTW, L&S made $341.7M globally.
2) Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning made $63M in its first three days (domestic) and has already made $190M globally. *Internet says it might possibly get to 600 million before it's done at the box office. This is the best opening ever for a Mission Impossible movie. Tom Cruise is still a movie star.
3) Final Destination Bloodlines has made $94.6M domestic so far.
