Scotty note: Posting this at 6:00a on Tues Apr 29th so these are best guess/ projections and there are some close races... subject to change... Based on the data we have:
1) Canada is set to have another Liberal Government, led by Prime Minister Mark Carney ... but until some of the close races and some of the mail-in ballots are counted, we don't know for sure if it's a majority or minority.
2) The PC party will be the opposition party ... PC leader Pierre Poilievre has said he will continue to lead the party despite losing in his own riding.
3) 3rd place is the Bloc Québécois
4) NDP Leader js lost in his riding and has said he will resign as party leader ... the NDPs did not win enough seats to hang on to official party status.
5) Green Party of Canada is fifth place with 1 seat.
