- Fri Feb 10, 7:00p... Maritime Kitchen Party at St. John the Baptist Anglican Church (28 Woolridge St). see (

- Sat Feb 11th from 1:30p to 3:30p Take a Polar Plunge for Charity...
- happens at the Pat Crossman Memorial Aquatic Center (400 Whitepine Drive) in support of P.R.O Kids Riverview.
- On Saturday (Feb 11) you'll have a chance to donate to PRO Kids and take a Polar Dip in water around 45 Degrees! (F).
- No need to pre-register, just be there between 1:30p and 3:30p.
- there's room for a max of 50 dippin' dippers.
- icymi, P.R.O Kids Riverview gives kids from all walks of life a chance to play sport or join a club, group, or program, without worrying about the cost.
- Thanks to Riverview Fire & Rescue for being onsite.

- Sat Feb 4 from 1p to 6p Frozen Open Skateboard Contest at Riverview Skatepark/Surface Skateshop, 145 Lakeside Drive (the premiere winter skateboard contest on the east coast... there's a $7 Competitor fee but it's free for spectators... cash-only canteen onsite and also the Cheesecake Garage will be there.)

- Sun Feb 5 from 11a to 2p Campfire Cookout at the Mill Creek Nature Park Lookout (hosted by 1st Moncton Traditional Scouting... enjoy mini beaver tails, hot chocolate and a starburst roast over the campfire... this is free while supplies last.)
- Sun Feb 5 from 2p to 3:30p Mill Creek Amazing Race at Mill Creek Nature Park (this is where you get a team of friends and family for a fun outdoor challenge hosted by BGC Riverview youth... stop at the checkpoints and test your knowledge/ skills/ creativity... this is free.)

Crossroads for Women Asking for your Help... - Their mission is about "Helping women and children transition from crisis to empowerment by providing safe housing, education, and one-on-one support." - In a press release Crossroads shared that NB leads the country with a 39% increase in intimate partner violence. - Crisis calls to Crossroads have increased to more than 3000 per year. - They've been at full capacity for more than a year. - They've set a goal of raising $200,000. - Please consider a donation to Crossroads for Women!
