- 20 new cases reported on the weekend... 16 of them are in Moncton (some of them are contacts of other cases, some are travel related, some are still being investigated)
- Total cases in NB = 75. 
*Most new cases are unvaccinated people.
Vax numbers: 69.0 % of New Brunswickers are fully vaccinated (needle hasn't moved since Friday?) ...  82.6 % have one dose

Cases of Legionnaires Disease in Moncton... six cases have been reported... they are investigating where it came from, but don't expect to find out this week...  it's probably a contaminated cooling tower, according to the experts...symptoms are fever, cough, shortness of breath, muscle aches... if that's you, get checked out by a doctor...
Team Canada Olympics Stuff
icymi, Friday was a very good day for Team Canada at the Olympics...
- Team Canada won Olympic Gold in Women's Soccer on Friday

- and we won Bronze in the Men's 4x100m relay
- and Evan Dunfee won bronze in the 50K Race Walk
- and Mo Ahmed won silver in the 5000m
- then Katharine Vincent and Laurence Vincent-Lapointe won bronze in the women's Canoe Sprint
- our last medal came on the last day of the games when Kelsey Mitchell won gold in cycling
- We wrapped up the games with 24 medals!
- The Team Canada jean jackets during the closing ceremonies were big on social media...
 - they announced Paris for the next Summer games

icymi... New Public Washroom Downtown...
The other day they had Main Street blocked off doing some sewer work by City Hall... that was to make a new public washroom possible... it'll be near the bus shelter outside City Hall and it's supposed to be ready by the end of the month!?!
- downtown businesses have been hoping for this (some places have had problems with people abusing their washroom facilities)
- it'll be self-cleaning (ed. note - I hope so)
- it cost $300,000 but the Feds kicked in some money towards it

icymi... Food Recall note From Health Canada:
"Do you eat, cook, or make smoothies with frozen mangoes? There is an ongoing #HepatitisA outbreak linked to human illnesses. Frozen mangoes sold under various brands have been recalled."
These include Compliments and President's Choice brands sold in NB so check your freezer and throw out your frozen mangoes

- it was a house in the 1400 block of Shediac Rd
