Orange Shirt Day is Wed Sept 30 in Anglo East Schools #EveryChildMatters

Orange Shirt Day happens Wed Sept 30 in Anglo East Schools.
Orange Shirt Day is about remembering what happened to kids and families during the time of the residential school system in our country, and supporting our First Nations communities. Orange Shirt Day has also come to symbolize a message of anti-racism and anti-bullying. School staff, students, and all of us are encouraged to wear Orange shirts.

When you wear an orange shirt and share the slogan "Every
Child Matters" you're helping to raise awareness of the residential school experience many children and families endured, and you are saying we need to help each other to make the future better.
