On Sunday, someone in their 50s tested positive for Covid19 in the Fredericton area (Zone 3.) This is a close contact of a recent travel-related case. This person is self-isolating. NB now has 4 active cases, two in Zone 3 and two in Zone 1 (Moncton).
The NB website has info about traffic trying to come into the Province. On Saturday, over 6000 personal vehicles and 1400 commercial ones tried to cross the border into NB with a refusal rate of between 2 and 3 percent.

- If you've seen the red dresses in the trees along the TCH near Salisbury and didn't know what they were, that is part of the Red Dress Project to honour Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls.
A 38-year-old man has been charged with 18 offences. Police began investigating an alleged assault on July 14th, that led to a search of a Moncton residence where police seized firearms among other things. The man is still in custody and is supposed to have a bail hearing on Wednesday.

Starting Wednesday you can watch for "Happiness Rocks" in in parks and along trails in Dieppe. 500 rocks have been decorated by artists and hidden all over. 
They have inspiring messages and nice colours, and if you find one, you can keep it. Please, one rock per customer. Here's a sample...
Traffic Notes:
~ Lane reductions until the end of September on McLaughlin Drive, between Hennessey Road and Edmond Street (Moncton). Crews are doing a watermain renewal and resurfacing McLaughlin Drive between Hennessey Road and Edmond Street. The work also will include some renewals of sewer system, as well as curb and sidewalk.
~ Lane reductions on Champlain Street starting Monday:
The City of Dieppe advises there'll be lane reductions on Champlain St between Marché and Collège from Mon July 20 to Fri July 24. #sewerwork
Businesses will remain accessible during construction.

The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that there will be lane reductions as well as intermittent closures from July 20 to September 30 to allow for microsurfacing work on the following streets:
Melanson Road (between Amirault Street and Bourque Road
Centrale Street (between Melanson Road and Chartersville Road)
Chartersville Road (between Centrale Street and Pascal Avenue)
Bourque Road (between Chartersville Road and Norbert Street)
Industrial Street (between Champlain Street and Malenfant Boulevard)
It should be noted that businesses will remain accessible during construction.
Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic. The City regrets any inconvenience this work may cause and appreciates your patience and collaboration.
