**Update June 16** Real Graduation Ceremonies (of some sort) are allowed in NB!

*******UPDATE*******

> We got a note from RHS:
"Hi Everyone!! Riverview Town Council approved our Grad Parade last night!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉.
Start spreading the word so that we can reach all Grads and their families!!
The date will be Wednesday June 17.  The grads will drive the route (or they can be driven by a parent if they like). The start time will be 7pm at the Riverview Mall parking lot.  Grads should arrive before that to line up.
The route is Coverdale Rd to Buckingham to Whitepine to Trites and back to the Riverview Mall.
We are hoping that families and friends and all Town Residents will come and cheer on our Grads (with physical distancing along the route of course 😊).
Encourage everyone you know to decorate their homes and businesses around Town for the week of June 15th- June 19th and let’s show our Royals some Love!!! 🎓❤️🎓❤️🎓❤️🎓❤️"

> We got a note from HTHS:
"The Moncton Coliseum has generously donated the use of their parking lot on June 16th from 6-8 pm so we may have a vehicle parade. Each graduate will be honoured with their own commemorative sign along the parade route.

> We got a big rundown from Franc South Schools which you can see HERE

> We got this note from Principal Tammy at JMA High School:
"Armstrong High is pleased to be able to host the Senior class at the Sussex Drive In tonight (June 17) at 9:30 for 66 members. It is one last chance to come together in a unique way, while respecting current public health guidelines, to show our love and support for the young people who are entering into a new chapter of their lives. We look forward to celebrating their successes!
Take Care

*******END UPDATE*******

If you have grad plans to share, let us know!

Fact Sheet:
~ Dept of Education did up some guidelines for grad ceremonies for Anglo and Franco school districts.
~ Graduation Guidelines (can we call them Gradlines©?) will help the districts plan safe grad celebrations.
~ There should be physical distancing.
~ Other suggestions from the Prov/Public Health aren't mandatory, but just ideas to run with.
~ Schools have to submit their suggestions to the District for approval.
~ Do it now! Ceremonies are expected to happen between June 15 and 19. (final day of home school is June 12.)
~ Please consider going with the Space Grad© theme:
1) Everybody in space suits means practically zero chance of Covid transmission
2) Don't have to spend much time on your hair and makeup
3) Hides pandemic weight gain
