Feeding the Hungry in a Difficult Time #Covid19 #coronavirus #FeedTheHungry #TogetherApart

There is as great a need as ever at our shelters and food banks. If you are able to donate time, money, or product, to a worthwhile charity, here is some information:
- Feeding School Kids:
Anglophone East Schools normally feed hundreds of kids. When school is cancelled, some kids and families go hungry. Volunteers are working to feed those kids by getting bagged lunches to school neighborhoods. School families receive email updates with details and (sometimes) they post details on the Anglo East Social Media.
*If you need assistance, please call Peter McKee Centre at 506-383-4281.
*Your patience is appreciated if their deliveries are running late.
*Please send along one person to collect for your elementary, middle and high school age students.
*These meals are available on a first come/first served basis while they last.
*Still do Social Distancing when you show up for food!
You can support programs like this which help kids by supporting United Way, Moncton HeadstartMoncton Boys and Girls Club, Riverview Boys and Girls Club, and the Peter McKee Centre.

- The United Way in Moncton is teaming up with United Way Atlantic to help people through the Atlantic Compassion Fund. Donate online: https://donate.unitedwayhalifax.ca/give/277178/#!/donation/checkout or Call United Way Moncton at 506-858-8600 ext 3662 or email office@moncton.unitedway.ca.
