Here's some info about this Saturday's Santa Claus Parade (*in some cases this is based on last year's info*)
*TIMELINE:
-1p to 7p Vaughan Harvey closed from Millennium /John St intersection to entrance of Sobeys on Vaughan Harvey
-3p to 7p Main St closed from Vaughan Harvey to Cameron
-4p to 7p Main St/ Champlain St closed to Paul St
-4:30p to 7p Downing St closed.
-4:30p-7p Paul St closed from Champlain to Regis St
-4:30p The Tim Hortons Food Drive Float starts rolling... they lead the parade collecting food donations for the food bank
-5p Parade begins from the corner of Cameron and Main.
-5p-6p is also the Holiday Open House and Tree Lighting at Moncton City Hall (655 Main Street) #treats
-5:30p City Hall Plaza Gets Lit
-6p Santa Claus expected to pass by City Hall

-PLEASE WATCH THE SIGNS- IF YOU PARK IN A PRIVATE LOT YOU MIGHT END UP SAD :(

*FOOD DRIVE FLOAT:
Please bring a food donation for the food bank to the parade. Volunteers lead the parade collecting your donations for the Tim Hortons Food Drive Float.

*LETTERS TO SANTA:
Yes! Canada Post volunteers WILL BE collecting letters to Santa.
Note: Research shows that cryers and pouters are 40% more likely to end up on the Naughty List© so try to avoid those behaviors.

*EAT and HELP
Peggy's Mobile Canteen is always set up in the Staples parking lot along the parade route with hot dogs, fries, hot chocolate, and more! Peggy's Mobile Canteen is staffed by cancer survivors and proceeds will go to cancer charities!

*LITTER:
One year we broke a record for the mountain of coffee cups that got left behind after the parade! Thanks for remembering to take your trash with you when you leave.
