#Weather #Storm #WhiteChristmas?
There's a Special Weather Statement from Environment Canada that covers 2 storms...
first storm is gonna hit us starting early Saturday as light snow then becomes freezing rain or rain in the South... maybe snow in Northern NB...
then on Christmas (Monday) it looks like we could get a snow storm. To be continued!

#E.Coli in Romaine Lettuce continues to be a serious concern...
Public Health says we should just avoid romaine... there's been one death and 40 illnesses linked to this... five people got sick in NB, one in NS.
#Birds Another special bird sighting in NB...The Public Health Agency of Canada says the cases of E. coli 0157 seemed to be associated with the consumption of romaine lettuce. https://t.co/jHq3zwyJOC— Global New Brunswick (@Global_NB) December 22, 2017
A week ago we were talking about a Mistle Thrush in the Mirimichi... now it's a falcon in Caissie Cape... Nora Hebert got some pictures of it a few days ago... it's a White Morph Gyrfalcon, the biggest kind of falcon in the world... it's hardly ever seen around here.

P.A. Parenteau from Dieppe is gonna play at the Spengler Cup in Switzerland starting Boxing Day... that means he'll get looked at for the 2018 Winter Olympics team too... some of those guys will end up on the Team Canada Olympic team... (ICYMI: last year Parenteau played in the NHL for New Jersey & Nashville... this year he's playing for a Russian team in the Kontinental League)

Moncton Flyers play Kensington tonight at 7:30 at the Superior Propane Centre... (Finally another home game!) Flyers haven't played at home yet this month... Flyers are number one in the League, Kensington isn't doing too shabby this season either...
The @MonctonFlyers will play first home game since Nov. 12 on Friday night. It's a big one. @TimesTranscript @GGreenMachine @pqmiramichi https://t.co/58rIDcWX2G
